- There is a telephone loop in the sanctuary. Those with hearing aids may
want to turn on their “telephone button”.
Ready for
Summer?
Our Vacation
Bible School will be July 7 - 11. However, if you’re ready for some bright
colors now, come out March 10 - 14 in the afternoons for VBS decorating. Its an
all ages event, but children need to be accompanied by an adult.
Pictures for New Church Pictoral Directory
- Universal Portrait Studios will be at our church in May to take pictures
of members of our congregation for a new Pictoral Directory. You will be
called in May regrading having your picture taken to be included in the
directory.
Summer Grants
- The CE & A Board has submitted an application for a summer grant.
Students who apply need to be in full-time studies this year and returning
next year and be between the ages of 15 - 30. The position would involve
various ministries with a main focus on children’s work. Students
interested may submit a resume letter to Sarah Duffy by April 13th.
Atlantic Baptist Women’s Convention,
May 23 - 25 at Atlantic Baptist University, Moncton, NB. The theme is “Starting
Fresh! In Faith, In Prayer, In Relationships”. Speaker: Cheryl Ann Beals.
Music: Sisters Act on Saturday; and Sunday morning: Measha Brueggergosman.
Registration fee $25 before April30 and $30 after. Registration forms are in
March Tidings and are available on line.
Pot Luck Social,
following morning worship on May 18. Please bring a plate of sandwiches or
sweets. This will also be a great time to get to know other members of the
congregation so please wear your name tags. A table will be set up for those who
don’t have a name tag so that they may receive one that morning.
Yard Sale and
Breakfast
‑ Our annual Yard Sale will be held on May 24th, 8:00 a.m.- 1:00
p.m. Items can be dropped off at the parsonage sun porch or church gym when the
church is open. Money raised will go the Building Fund. If you have questions
or need items picked up, please call Carl Selig 543-5375.

House

Workshop by
Wayne Fevens
for Deacons or anyone interested in knowing what duties of a Deacon entail on
Saturday, May 17th to be held at the Annex.
Notice of Motion
to be given at Spring Business Meeting on Wednesday, May 21st, that
we change our name to the Bridgewater Baptist Church.
Congratulations
to our volunteers. In a recent Bridgewater Town Ceremony Norman & Eleanor
Hovland, Stan Dagley and Nicholas Gear were recognized for their volunteer work.
YOUR
CAMP
would welcome your support again. The Board of Trustees has invited the Long
Lake Camp Board to have a bake table at the Church Yard Sale on May 24th
. We would welcome any baked goods that you may be able to provide to us. Please
deliver them to the church on Friday the 23rd or early on the 24th. Thank you.
Board of Directors, Long Lake Camp
Musical Evening to celebrate our church anniversary,
Sunday May 25th at 7:00 p.m. Participants will include the various musical
ministry groups of our Church Family with a chance for the congregation to
participate during the hymn sing portions of the evening. A free will offering
will be received for the Church Building Fund. Fellowship time to follow.

family of the late Murray Manzer wish to thank all their friends at the
